About the adventure

In this game we will move through a classic Dungeons and Dragons Game, fighting monsters and earning treasure. Players can enter and leave the game at any time. Each week we will be playing the game Dungeon and Dragons Animal Adventures. Students can choose to play as a talking animal in the world of D&D. The animal choices are: dog, cat, horse, alpaca, axolotl, orangutan, fox, goat, koala, otter, pig, rabbit, red panda and bird. You can choose any class in D&D ranger, barbarian, monk, wizard, sorcerer, druid, warlock, bard, cleric, fighter, paladin, or rogue. The game groups will start with The Wild Beyond Witch Light Adventure. After the group has finished this adventure module, the group can vote on the next adventure they would like to play.

What to expect
Preparing for the session

You will need a working microphone and camera to play. You will need a free D&D beyond account to use your digital character sheet. We will learn the rules as we play. If you have questions please send me a message.

What DM Jill brings to the table

I will provide full color maps through D&D beyond. We will use turn order for the entire game session so players will know when it is thier turn to go in the game. I will also provide a library of adventures from which the group can choose what they would like to play. I will use rules a written for most of the game. If a situation comes up where the players can do something awesome that would require the rule of cool I will explain what the rule of cool will do and how long it will last for in the game.

How DM Jill creates a safe table

We will use X cards in the game. Players can send these by chat in the zoom, by putting one on the screen with the map stickers, or holding one up to the camera. We will also go over lines and veils. All of my kid games have been adjusted to be appropriate for the age level they are being run at and we go over each area of the game before we play through a part that might have a phobia. For example if we are going into the underdark where there is spiders and spider creatures I will make sure the group is ok with spiders in the game. If is it a no I will change out the spider monsters for something else.
