Hi, I'm Sofia (she/they). I've played TTRPGs for over 20 years and GMed various systems throughout that time. I run one-shots and campaigns of D&D, Root: The RPG, Avatar Legends, and other systems when opportunities arise. I'm a former teacher, run all age games at my local shop, and have run lots of games with my own kiddos. I'm skilled in supporting LGBT and neurodiverse youth, and I love teaching games to new players!

My game style

I aim to create spaces that are safe for people to learn, take in-game risks, and explore a variety of stories together. I was a classroom teacher for over 10 years, so I've built up skills for keeping people engaged, finding the right level of challenge, making adaptable plans, and making sure everyone is included. I love finding the ways a game system, setting, or plot can fit what players enjoy. I will make sure we clearly communicate about what to expect up front, because I have a wide range of what I'll run in terms of setting, difficulty, and pace. Whether it's cozy, fantasy, sci-fi, mystery, or whatever, games should fit what's exciting and fun for everyone at the table! I'm big on communication, safety, and getting to know what suits each player. I usually plan for voice and visuals in my games, but I'm glad to include players who need to participate in other mediums, like text. Whether we're solving mysteries, engaging in political intrigue, or crunching numbers in nail-biting combat, I look forward to having fun together!
